Thompson Cemetery

Thompson Cemetery Pulaski County Kentucky is located in the Bee Lick Community. Today, 1 Jan 2012,  I completed the photographs and entered them into Findagrave.com. The sign is not visible from the road as the cemetery is about 750 feet from Highway 328.

The Cemetery is fenced, but there is no gate for easy access.  There are many field stones. It appears that the oldest readable stones are Betsy Wilson (1794-1849) and Joshua Wilson (1793-1835)
There are only 21 readable stones in the cemetery.

Although the cemetery lies within Pulaski County, the cemetery was inventoried for the Rockcastle Cemetery Book published by Bonham and Hyatt, Highgrass Publications, 1986, page 626.  My Aunt and Uncle, Ruby Thompson Adams and William Adams recorded this cemetery. The Beelick Community lies at the intersection of the three counties Lincoln, Rockcastle and Pulaski.

  1. i found a marriage record for joshua wilson and betsy brown married 1802. if she was b. 1794 then she would have been 8. my joshua wilson was born in 1760s and married sarah lykins. he may have married in 1802 to a betsy brown but i think she may have been someone else who was born about 1780. also if joshua married betsy brown in 1802 she would be the mother of my ancestor, sarah wilson poff.
